Media Library

Your library is organized into virtual collections you arrange however you like. Collections contain albums (playlists), which group tracks. One library, many sources.

Track Metadata

Every track carries the metadata you need to find it and mix with it:

  • Title, artist, and album
  • Genre
  • Musical key and BPM
  • Duration and track number
  • Cover artwork

Cover art comes from archive.org metadata or YouTube thumbnails when you import.

Browsing

Browse your library however suits the moment:

  • By collection
  • By album
  • By recent – what you added or imported most recently
  • By audio or video

Full-text search finds tracks by title and artist. The search bar doubles as a command palette – the same box you search in is where you paste a URL to preview and start an import. See Importing Music.
