Performance & Pro DJ Link

Link to CDJs, read live playback, and capture set lists

Take your library to the booth. deadca7 speaks Pioneer Pro DJ Link, so it can join the DJ network alongside your CDJ-3000s and see exactly what’s playing.

Join the Network as a Virtual Player

deadca7 joins the Pro DJ Link network as a virtual player, with automatic device-number negotiation and conflict handling – it sorts out its place on the network for you.

Read Live Playback

Once connected, deadca7 reads live data from the playing decks in real time:

  • Beat position
  • Tempo
  • Pitch
  • On-air status

Position updates arrive roughly 30 times per second, so “now playing” stays in sync with the music.

Read the rekordbox Library

deadca7 can read a connected player’s rekordbox library, bringing what’s on the deck into view.

Capture Set Lists and Sync Visuals

Generate set track lists from what you actually play, and synchronize visuals to the music as you perform.
